A photo of the mountain.   At the time I took the photo, I didn't know that the "Andean Club" was a ski lodge and thus didn't know that what I'd captured in this picture was a look at where we would be "trekking"!

The yellow "t" shaped poles beginning about center on the left side were what carried the chair lift that we would take later in the morning.
