January '08 - South America: Punta Arenas, Argentina

A couple of penguins heading through the dry tidal paths to the sea. The fact that they don't yet have the red markings on their faces, makes me think they are juveniles. Somewhere along the way, I learned that they are juveniles, i.e., non-breeding for the first 4-5 years of their lives.
