January '08 - South America: Ushuaia, Argentina

Here's where the little islands come together. The cormorant in the middle slid down the slippery edge much like the penguins did on the ice and snow of Antarctica. This also appeared to be a favorite spot for the seals to get in and out of the water. It amazed me how easily they could move their huge bodies so easily up the slick rock.
