UpJanuary '08 - South America: Ushuaia, Argentina PrevNextSlideshow

Going into the Beagle Channel, the skies were marvelous to watch.   A bit foreboding at times but beautiful!

The Beagle Channel, about 150 miles long and 3 miles wide at its widest point, is named for Charles Darwin's HMS Beagle.   The eastern part (where we are cruising) serves as the southern border between Argentina and Chile.   The western part of the channel is all within Chile.
