Waves in the Drake Passage around noon time on January 1st.   These don't look that high in the picture, and unfortunately, maybe fortunately, we couldn't get outside at a lower deck as they had closed them off, to get a better view that would show the height. They were 14-16' waves!  

The "little white bags" had been set out again, and, many staterooms had the "do not disturb" signs out!   Fortunately for us, sea sickness is not one of the maladies we are subject to.   Well, I had a "just in case" little white bag rolled up and in my pocket at all times!   That psychology worked!
