December '07 - January '08 South America: Antarctica

Looking down we see these official looking guys coming aboard! What we learned is they are Chilean officials based at a Chilean station on the continent (Antarctica). They were coming aboard for lunch and to stamp our passports with "Antarctica". We didn't see the stamps until we disembarked Insignia in Valparaiso. We had been advised by our captain or cruise director, don't remember which, that this was what was happening. We all survived their arrival and departure!
