December '07 - January '08 South America: Antarctica

Early, December 30th, on Deck 10, looking out to the port side as we pass through the Neumeyer Channel. So many tall and rugged cliffs. My vision of all of Antarctica was of rolling hills covered with snow and ice. Most of what we saw was the islands off the Antarctic peninsula. Totally beautiful! The contrasts reminded me of the photos we've seen of the Orca whales.
