| Thursday, December 27, 2007 After a full day of cruising from Puerto Madryn, we arrived in the Falkland Islands early in the morning. This would be another tender port. We anchored outside "the narrows" (the entry into Port Stanley). We had come from Puerto Madryn / Punta Tombo where we had seen the largest colony of Magellanic Penguins in the world and since most of the penguins in the Falklands are Magellanic, we chose not to do another penguin tour here. We chose a "Highlights" tour then wandered around on our own for a while before returning to the ship. NOTE: Click on an image to enlarge it.
