| One last look at Buenos Aires before we head out into the river. It will be a couple of days before we're out to the ocean. The park along the shore line is the Ecological Reserve near Puerto Madero. It was created when, in the 1960's and 1970's, demolished buildings and construction debris were dumped into the river. Nature trapped the heavy river sediment and soon grass and small plants began to grow. It has become a home to a myriad of birds. We had it on our list to visit, however, time was too short. |
