Shortly after arriving back in Buenos Aires from Iguazu Falls, we were at the seaport, onboard Oceania's Insignia and on our way across the Rio de la Plata to Montevideo. This set of photos covers leaving Buenos Aires and our day in Montevideo. None of the excursions looked particularly exciting but since Montevideo is the capital of Uruguay, visiting the capital building would be a good thing to do. Thus, we took the "Highlights of Montevideo" tour.
