British Clock Tower (Torre Monumental) in Plaza San Martin was a gift from the British Community in Buenos Aires in 1916. Many Porteños (Buenos Aires locals) now call it the Argentine Big Ben. It was given this name during the Falklands/Isla Malvinas war.
