| On the east side of the Markt square stands the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church), formerly St Ursulakerk. While called New Church, it was built between 1396 and 1496. The tower, more than 350ft high is in the Brabantine Gothic style, with a carillon of 1663; there is said to be a wonderful overview of Delft from the top.
