| The official "Bridge Too Far". The one seen in the movie, while quite similar, was actually in a different location. By the time the movie was shot, the area around the true Arnhem bridge had become too urban to portray a 1940's city. We were docked ~150 yards from the bridge. This picture was taken from the bus on our way to Oosterbeek to learn more about Operation Market Garden. |
