April 2007 Rhine River Cruise:  Cruising Down the Rhine River and Rudesheim, Germany

Monday, April 16, 2007 (cruising) and Tuesday, April 17, 2007

After spending the morning of April 16th in Heidelberg, we set sail for Rudesheim.  We spent the afternoon cruising, docking in Rudesheim in the early evening.  We walked into town but didn't stay very long.  After all the fresh air from the river, we were ready for a good night's sleep.

The next morning (April 17th) we toured Rudesheim, visiting the Mechanical Music Museum followed by free time which we used to take a cable car ride up to the top of the hill above town to visit the Neiderwald Monument Germania statue.
