April 2007 Rhine River Cruise:  Heidelberg, Germany

Back on the bus, out the window we see fields of yellow everywhere.  Our guide described them as canola fields.  We learned that canola is a particular cultivar of rapeseed that is used in the making of canola oil.  Wikipedia says canola is a trademaked name derived from "Canadian oil, low acid".
